Privacy policy

Scope
This document is written in the context of the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR – EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council, of April 27, 2016 of singular persons regarding the free circulation of their personal data.

• Data collection & image usage and publicity rights
Personal and financial data, IT access information, cookies and other tracking technologies will be collected.
During the event, images may be obtained for reproduction in videos and photographs to be published on the website and social networks pertaining exclusively to the event and Mundiconvenius. These images may be used for publications, presentations, and promotional purposes. No compensation or approval rights are granted for such use.

Data processing and storage 
Two data bases will be formed by the event promoter and the event organizer.
The data will be stored for as long as it is useful without prejudice to a different period in accordance with the legal obligations of an accounting nature.
 
Rights of data title holders 
In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation, the participant is guaranteed the right of access, updating, correction, restriction of use or elimination of his or her data, portability to third parties or to the title holder, by written request addressed to:

Complaints may be made to the National Committee for the Data Protection (Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados - CNPD).

Terms & Conditions

• Participant responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet all necessary requirements to attend the event, including visas, vaccinations, and other mandatory documents. The organization is not responsible for individual logistical issues, such as flight cancellations, lost luggage or other travel-related incidents.

• Liability disclaimer
It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. The organizers cannot accept responsibility for personal accidents, loss, or damage to private property belonging to the event Congress, participants and accompanying persons.

• Force majeure and event cancellation
In case of force majeure, such as unforeseen political (e.g. strikes), economic, epidemiological or climatic circumstances, any programme changes (e.g. due to speaker cancellations), change to another Conference venue or conversion to a virtual format, the organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event.
In such cases, the participation fee may be refunded in whole or in part or adjusted at the organizers’ reasonable discretion.

The organization also reserves the right to modify the programme, activities, topics, or speakers whenever necessary, and does not assume responsibility for any losses or expenses incurred by participants, regardless of the reason for the cancellation or change.

Safety and health regulations
All applicable health and safety guidelines in effect at the time of the event will be strictly followed.
